It is not the property of any political party, family, ‘Rajwada’, caste or religion. This country belongs to each one of you. You have to care about your college, home, neighbourhood, city, state and country.”
Khare said: “You can be a good accountant or be in any profession, a house maker as well, but you should have an aim. Not only that, we should also think about how to make India a better country.”
“Everyone cannot go to Canada. People feel that there is no rule of law here, but think there is rule of law in Canada. When we go to Canada, we respect their feelings and they respect ours. Why do we allow politicians to divide us in our country? Younger generation will have to come forward to make it better. If everyone respects law, it will become a lawful society. Then nobody needs to go to Canada,” he said.
He also encouraged students to explore their creativity. He said there was a big world of creativity. He felicitated students and exhorted them to strive for excellence in the present globalised world and accept valiantly the challenges which life throws.
Earlier, the function commenced with students reciting shabad “Dehe Shiva Var Mohe”. Principal Charanjit Mahal presented the annual report highlighting the achievements of the college in various academics, sports and extra-curricular activities.
