District topper in medical stream felicitated at school

The management, staff and students of Green Grove Public School honoured Gurjot Singh, the Ludhiana district topper from medical stream in Class XII CBSE examination results declared yesterday.

Gurjot Singh has scored 96.6 per cent. Gurjot Singh and his parents were given a rousing welcome and a standing ovation by the students and staff of the school here today. President JPS Jolly and principal Suzy George accorded a floral welcome to Gurjot Singh and congratulated him.

Jolly congratulated the parents and appreciated the teaching faculty and the principal for their efforts.

Chairperson Satinderjeet Kaur Jolly also congratulated Gurjot Singh. Principal Suzy George said it was a moment of honour and all juniors should take inspiration from Gurjot Singh.

Gurjot Singh expressed his gratitude to the management, principal, staff and his parents. He said he was fortunate to be a part of Green Grove Public School which had the best teaching faculty.

Others who brought laurels to the school were also honoured. Robinpreet Nagra was honoured for standing second in the school with 95.6 per cent and Jasleen Kaur for getting the third position with 95.4 per cent. Navjot Kaur was felicitated for standing stood fourth with 94 per cent. Damanpreet was recognised for being the topper in English with 97 marks. Gurjot Singh and Robinpreet topped in biology with 99 marks; Rupreet Kaur topped in fine arts with 98 marks; Gurjot Singh, Robinpreet Kaur Nagra, Jasleen Kaur, Navjot Kaur , Amol Pajni, Jaskaranjit Kaur, Gursimran and Ravleen are physics toppers with 95 marks; Manaavjeet and Harman are maths toppers with 95 marks; Shivam topped in business studies with 95 marks; Gurpinder in economics with 95 marks and Bhavika Sood in accounts with 93 marks.
