EC to hold voter registration camps at the booth level

LUDHIANA: In view of the upcoming 2019 General Elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI), has given an opportunity to people to get themselves registered as voters.

In view of the upcoming 2019 General Elections, the Election Commission of India (ECI), has given an opportunity to people to get themselves registered as voters.

Ludhiana Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Agrawal. He said on March 2 and 3, special camps would be organised by booth-level officers (BLOs) at all polling stations in Ludhiana district.

He said the BLOs would be having a voter lists through which voters can verify their details.

He added that incase any voter finds name missing in the list, he/she could fill Form No. 6 and if the details are wrong, one could fill Form No. 8 and submit it to the concerned BLO or in the office of Electoral Registration Officer. He said Form No. 6, 6a, 7, 8, 8o could also be filled online at the National Voter Services Portal (www.nvsp.in).
