The entrance test to get admission to Senior Secondary Residential School for Meritorious Students will take place on May 13. The PSEB released a public notice in this regard on Wednesday stating that the registration for admission to Class XI in non-medical, medical, commerce, and humanities has started from April 18 and will end on April 30.
Till last year, the eligibility criterion for students was 80 per cent above score in Class X. However, this year students who are expecting minimum 55 per cent marks (general) and 50 percent marks (reserved) in class X PSEB examinations are eligible to apply.
Earlier, the results of students were scanned and those who qualify the eligibility condition were only allowed to write the entrance exam.
A fee of Rs200 will be charged to the students at the time of registration. This fee will be refunded if the students fail to score requisite marks in the exam.
Adarsh schools affiliated to Punjab School Education Board under RMSA/EDB/PP Mode can also apply.
