Ludhiana: The fashion design department at PCTE Group of Institutes organised a face painting competition on the theme "Modern Art". The aim was to encourage students to think differently and exhibit their talent. The first prize was bagged by Thavisha Garg ( B Sc FD III) and the second prize by Krity ( B Sc FD III). Ruchi Chopra, assistant professor of fashion design, said: "These competitions help students to think out of the box and bring up something creative."
KCW students shine
Five students of MA Fine Arts Semester-II students of Khalsa College for Women placed their names in the top-10 positions. Aishwarya Sehdev bagged the first position by scoring 88.7 per cent marks, Gagandeep and Jasjot Kaur bagged the second position by scoring 87.7 per cent marks, Shifali Kapoor bagged the eighth position by scoring 83 per cent marks, Sukhsagar Deep Kaur bagged the tenth position by scoring 82 per cent marks.
