Ludhiana, May 13
Dr Jagdev Singh, deputy director of Horticulture Department, has advised farmers to prune the jujube (ber) trees. Dr Singh said it was the right time to prune jujube trees, which would ensure the right growth. “Pruning should be done from mid May to first week of June. The trees need pruning every year and dried branches should be cut off.” —TNS
