FICO delegation to attend business event in Singapore

Gurmeet Singh Kular, president, Federation of Industrial and Commercial Organisation (FICO), and Manjinder Singh Sachdeva, FICO General Secretary, left for Singapore to attend the Invest North (India) at Marina Bay Sands on Tuesday.

Three states — Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand — will present business and investment opportunities in India during the event.

There will be a session on ‘Investment opportunities in state of Punjab’, where the opening remarks will be delivered by Sachit Jain (Vardhaman Group) Chairman, CII Northern Region, followed by Rajat Aggarwal, CEO of the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotions, Rajinder Gupta, Chairman of the Trident Group, Vijay Inder Singla, Minister of Public Works & IT, Punjab, and Kamal Oswal (Nahar Oswal Group) and Manpreet Singh Badal , Minister of Finance, Planning & Employment Generation, Punjab.

Kular said that such trips gave opportunities to explore business ties with other nations. “Our recent visits to several countries have provided us with platforms to start business ties, which is beneficial for the industry,” said Kular.
