Function to mark martyr Sukhdev on May 12

Ludhiana, May 3

The Amar Shaheed Sukhdev Welfare Society, Ludhiana, will organise the fifth state-level function in memory of martyr Sukhdev on the occasion of his 112th birth anniversary on May 12.

During a press conference, Amar Shaheed Sukhdev Welfare Society president Vishal Nayar said the preparations for the functions were going on at full swing. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
