Ludhiana, October 14
Students of Green Land Senior Secondary Public (GLSSP) School, Jalandhar bypass branch, stamped their class by clinching as many as 38 medals, including 16 gold medals, in the Punjab Schools Zonal Athletics Meet held at Guru Nanak Public School, Birmi, in this district.
They secured positions in the boys’ and girls’ section in different age categories and proved their mettle.
The meet was organised on October 10 and 11 by the Punjab Education Department.
The medal winning students and their coach, Harjeet Singh, were honoured by school Principal Baldeep Pandher. Rajesh Rudhra, chairman, chain of Green Land Schools, also congratulated the students and their mentor on this achievement.
