Gurnoor, Navdeep to lead city teams

Gurnoor Singh, a student of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Ludhiana, and Navdeep Kaur of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Gill village, have been selected to lead the Ludhiana boys’ and girls’ teams, respectively, in the 6th Sub-Junior Punjab State Baseball Championship to be held at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Gill village, on August 18 and 19.
Players selected by the Ludhiana District Baseball Association are:
Boys: Gurnoor Singh, Gurparsad Singh and Ranvir Singh of Guru Nanak International Public School, Model Town, Ludhiana; Shivam, Narayan, Anuj Chauhan and Navin Yadav of BCM Senior Secondary School, Focal Point, Ludhiana; Sonu, Pranav, Abhishal and Rohit of Government Senior Secondary School, Kasabad village; Gomshi Nagpal, Pranav and Ansh Saluja of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana; Jaskaran Singh of Government Senior Secondary School, Kumkalan and Abhinav Gupta of DAV Public School, Ludhiana.
Ravi Dutt and Jatinder have been appointed coaches, while Suraj Chouhan will be the manager of the contingent.
Girls: Navdeep Kaur, Sandeep Kaur, Paramjit Kaur, Amanjot Kaur, Anmolpreet Kaur, Sonia and Krishma of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Gill village; Inderpreet Kaur, Sandhya and Kamla of Guru Nanak Model School, Janta Nagar, Ludhiana; Kashish and Muskan of BCM Senior Secondary School, Focal Point, Ludhiana; Pooja, Lovedeep Kaur and Tannu of Government Senior Secondary School, Kasabad village and Sonia of BCM Arya Model Senior Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana.
Neeru would be the manager of the team, whereas Rajinder Singh and Gurbinder Singh have been appointed as its coaches.
