Ludhiana: BBA 5the semester students of the Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, Ludhiana, once again proved their mettle in exams conducted by Panjab University. Tanpreet Kaur stood 1st in college by securing 76.83 per cent. Shivani Gupta scored 75.5 per cent marks and bagged 2nd position whereas Shubhneet Kaur ranked 3rd as she secured 75.1 per cent marks.
Extension lecture held
Counseling Cell of the BCM College, organised an extension lecture on “Tips to crack Civil Services Exam” on Thursday. Dr Charanjit Singh, Director, RICCS study centre acquainted the students and faculty with the different stages, papers, type of questions, reference books of CSE. Dr Singh made the students aware of the technology driven classrooms, pattern, timing and fee structure.
GNIMT holds sales fest
Guru Nanak Institute of Management Technology, Gujarkhan campus, Model Town, Ludhiana, organised a sales fest 2018 under the aegis of Indian Society for Technical Education Students Chapter. The fest was inaugurated by Dr HS Singha, Director GNIMT. The students adopted creative and innovative ideas to showcase their skills.
e-taxation workshop held
A workshop on e-taxation was organised by the Department of Commerce and Management at the Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women, Ludhiana, under the guidance of Seema Soni, HoD, on Thursday. CA Jagjit Singh briefed the students regarding filing of returns. Principal Dr Sarita Bahl thanked Singh. —TNS
