Haven’t shunned Punjabi films, says Gippy Grewal

Gippy Grewal, Punjabi singer-cum-actor, said he had not stopped working in Punjabi films and had been doing three films at present. He was addressing a press conference in connection with his Hindi film “Second Hand Husband”. Gippy was in the city along with the star cast of the film, including Geeta Basra, heroine of the film.
He said he got an opportunity to work with veteran actors like Dharmendra. So, he did not want to lose that chance. He said: “I am already busy doing Punjabi films ‘Farar”, “Lock” and one more.”
Talking about “Second Hand Husband”, Gippy said it conveyed the message that one should never get married in a hurry. This film is a mixture of Punjabi and Hindi films. Geeta Basra said her role in the film was simple but meaningful.
