INIFD students get career-related tips

Ludhiana, June 28

The Inter National Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD), Ludhiana, organised a two-day career development and professional grooming workshop “Design your career, design your life”.

Anchor Pallab Bose from New Delhi and model Aprajita Sharma were the resource persons. Pallab Bose talked about the importance of goal setting and time management, understanding personality and how to align towards the right career. Other topics included effective communication skills in English, various latest trends in the corporate and designing world.

Aprajita Sharma spoke on “How to be extraordinary”, wherein she talked about the mind, thinking and behavioural patterns and grooming. She motivated students to be positive in life

Highlighting the importance of combining skill and technical development, along with personality development and communication skills to create the foundation of a solid design career, centre director Arvind Gupta added, “These sessions will be conducted on a monthly basis throughout the academic session, because creating awareness is one thing and implementing the concept repeatedly is another. This compels the student to adopt positive aptitudetowards life which supports his/her aptitude and helps him to achieve success in professional life and happiness and satisfaction in personal life.”
