International Yoga Festival
Ludhiana: Students of SantIshar Singh Ji Memorial Public School, Karamsar, Rara Sahib, showcased their prowess in ‘International Yoga Festival-2019’ held in Rishikesh. Almost 700 students from various corners participated in the event. A total eight students from school participated with zeal and zest under the auspices of Manisha Panwar (yoga teacher of the school). Principal Dhiraj Kumar Thapliyal, lauded the endeavours of the students as well as yoga teacher.
Annual Day celebrations
Shri Ram Global Pre-School and Shri Ram Global School, Mall Road, celebrated its third annual day on March 7. The theme of the day was Airport Diary, hence the event was titled Udaan 2019. Sayed Shemael Ahmad, President Private Schools and Children Welfare Association, India (PSCWA) was the chief guest for the day and Nandita Prakash, Vice President PSCWA, Delhi was the guest of honour. The guests were welcomed with a bouquet and a token of love. This was entailed by the ceremonial lamp lighting, marking the commencement of the ceremony. Col Dr DB Sharma, Director, Shri Ram Global School addressed the audience with his enlightened words. A ballad was put up by the LKG students on use and abuse of technology followed by the hall of fame where parents joined the little ones for the finale. The function concluded with the vote of thanks by Miss Sakshi Garg, Director Shri Ram Global Pre-School and Shri Ram Global School, Ludhiana where she acknowledged the faculty members and the support staff for an exquisite show.
