Kali gets Shah Chaman Yadgari award

Litterateur Des Raj Kali was bestowed with Shah Chaman Yadgari award during a function held at the Punjabi Bhawan on Sunday.

A talk was also held on the occasion discussing how social media was being manipulated to run political campaigns.

They cited examples as to how the buzz words such as NaMo were created to impact the elections.

They pointed out that in this new age media, people need to become wiser to be able to see how they are being targeted to simply not get carried away and unduly influenced by such campaigns, which cloud the real issues and ground realities.
