Ludhiana, November 18
The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India is celebrating glorious 63 years of its incorporation. LIC has played a significant role in spreading life insurance among the masses and mobilisation of people’s money for people’s welfare.
The LIC shared that we are rendering services to 41 crore of policies. Under this huge number, some of the policies get lapse for non-remittances of premiums by the policyholders, resulting in loss of cover to the policyholders.
In order to give relief to the esteemed policyholders, the LIC has launched a special revival campaign for those policyholders whose policies are lying in lapse condition. Ganesh Lal, Senior Divisional Manger, Ludhiana Division, told that this special revival campaign was launched from September to November 15.
In order to get maximum benefits for policyholders, the LIC has now extended this special revival campaign up to November 30 through which a concession in late fee to the policyholders has been allowed up to maximum of Rs 2,500. Lal said this concession was now also applicable to policies issued after January 1, 2014, as well. —TNS
