The festival of Lohri was celebrated with great pomp and show at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School, Doraha. Traditionally dressed tiny tots were totally absorbed in festive spirit. While offering the bonfire prayers, chief guest Sukhpal Singh, Amarjit Singh (Trust Member) and Gagandeep Kaur (vice principal) blessed all the staff members and students for their well being and future endeavour.

A cultural programme was organised in the school. Students of all the classes participated in folk songs, skit, along with dance items performed by the students. In the end, vice principal Gagandeep Kaur of the school wished everybody on the occasion. Every one enjoyed the function and relished eating traditional Punjabi cuisines such as peanuts and rewris.
