Man found hanging from tree near flats

A 32-year-old man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the MIG flats in Dashmesh Nagar on Sunday morning. The body of Bunty (31) was hanging from a tree.
According to the police, the deceased’s wife, Sarita, had illicit relations with his friend. The couple daily had scuffles over the issue. The police suspect Bunty’s wife connived with her paramour to eliminate him from their illicit relationship.
Bunty ran a scrap business. His kin suspected the role of Bunty’s friend, Bheema, and his wife in the murder as both had been missing since the past night.
The couple has a six-year-old daughter.
The ADCP, Sandeep Sharma, inspected the crime spot. He said the family suspected the role of a migrant, Bheema, as Bunty was into the scrap business with him. Bheema is a native of Bihar.
“It seemed the man was first killed and later his body hanged from a tree near the MIG flats. However, investigation into the case is on. We are searching for the deceased’s friend, Bheema, and will soon solve the mystery shrouding Bunty’s death,” said the ADCP. According to police sources, Bheema visited Bunty’s house on Saturday where they consumed liquor. Finding a chance, Bheema and Bunty’s wife killed him (deceased) by hitting him on the throat with a heavy object. They later hanged the body from a tree near the flats.The deceased’s father, Sucha Singh, said Bheema and Bunty had been doing the scrap business together for the past around three years. “The murder of my son has caused a turmoil in my life. It is really shocking why Bheema killed my son. I appeal to the police authorities to provide me justice and hand out severe punishment to the culprits,” he said.
