Ludhiana, April 8
A man was booked for sending his paramour’s lewd pictures to her husband.
The woman alleged that the accused was allegedly threatening her even after her marriage and used to visit her when her husband was not there and got physical against her wishes.
According to the information, the woman is pregnant. The victim’s husband has reportedly left her after the accused sent her indecent pictures to him.
The accused has been identified as Sukhwinder Singh of New Dashmesh Nagar of Jagraon. A case under Sections 376, 294 and 506 of the IPC has been registered against the accused at Tibba police station. Investigating Officer Kulwant Singh said efforts were on to arrest the accused.
The woman told the police that she got married on August 19, 2018. In the absence of her in-laws and husband, the accused kept visiting her and threatened her since she got married, she said.
The woman alleged that when she refused to make physical relation with the accused, he sent her lewd videos and pictures to her husband.
Woman given abortion pills, 3 booked
Ludhiana: The police have booked a man and his parents for allegedly causing the miscarriage of his wife. In her complaint, a woman said she was three-month pregnant. She said her husband and in-laws gave her abortion pills to consume on March 23, 2019. As a result, she suffered an abortion on March 31, she said. The accused have been identified as Bablu, his mother Ganeshi and father Raju of Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, Shimlapuri. She got married around two years ago with Bablu. She told the police that her husband often used to thrash her. ASI Gernail Singh is investigating the case. A case under Sections 313 and 120-B of the IPC was registered against the accused at Shimlapuri police station. The accused are yet to be arrested. — TNS
