The general secretary of BJP, Punjab, Parvin Bansal, started the campaign on Tuesday and installed the party’s flag at his house, office and places of a few family members and friends.

When asked about the campaign, Bansal said BJP’s flag would be installed at each and every house, office and business establishment.

“Of course, it will not be forcible, but we will be appealing to the masses to vote and support the BJP in the coming elections — ‘Ab Ki Baar 400 Ke Paar’ (this time we aim to cross 400 mark in elections). Keeping this in mind, our senior leaders have given us a message to seek blessings of the masses. Through video-conferencing, we are told to install BJP flags in crores all over the country. We will go to mohallas, streets, markets and posh areas. The campaign will conclude on March 2,” said Bansal.

A senior leader in the party, wishing not to be quoted, said though programmes were different and there could be difference of opinion among party workers at the district level, as far as the party is concerned, all will show a united picture.
