Chandigarh-based NGO “YouBet” has come up with a merit-based scholarships to honour and reward hardworking students.

Speaking at Planet E School, Khanna, YouBet president Dhruv Dhawan said merit-based scholarships encourage students to work hard and achieve goals in life. The scholarship lays emphasis on “Becoming the best”.

Dhawan said the scholarships would be given to every topper from pre-nursey to Class XII. He said Rs 1,200 is offered in case of Kindergarten students and Rs 12,000 per annum for senior students. He said scholarships are a pat on the back of parents as kid’s excellence can be achieved throughdiligence of parents. — OC
