Ludhiana, September 6

The Health Department team comprising designated officer Dr Andesh Kang and Food Safety Officer Yogesh Goyal checked milk sampling and took milk samples from private and government contractor from Rajgarh village in Raikot tehsil, Jagraon, today at 4 am.

The team seized 144 kg of pure ghee brand name Novelty Pure Ghee Danedar manufactured at district Shahzpur, Ambala, Haryana.

The team issued notice to food business operator working without licence registration. It has also taken total eight samples — four of milk, three of desi ghee and one cooking medium. All samples had been sent to the state lab for analysis and action will be taken as per report.
