Mother’s Day celebrations

Ludhiana: Mothers' Day was celebrated with great zeal at Guru Gobind Singh Public School, Pakhowal Road, Ludhiana. Students recited the poems for their mother. They enacted a drama on the stage titled as 'Mother's Day' which vividly represents the contribution of a mother for her children.

Atam Devki Niketan School

The school celebrated Mother's Day. This occasion was honoured with the message that mother is God on the Earth. A message was given that she was the only person who took care of a child and shaped future of her kids. Children celebrated the day by expressing their feelings towards their mothers by performing and involving in various activities. Different games and various competitions among mothers were held.

HVM Convent School

A special assembly was conducted in which students exhibited their gratitude, love and regard for their mothers through speeches, poems and songs. Various competitions were also held such as greeting cards and poster making for classes I-IV and jewellery box, paper flowers, photo frame making for classes V-X. Students participated heartily and enthusiastically.

Babies Paradise

The day was celebrated on the school premises. There was a summer drink competition, modelling  many games were organised for mothers. Kids also performed for there mothers to show there love. They all presented a beautiful handmade craft to their mothers.

BCM Kindergarten

The tiny tots of the school celebrated Mother's Day. The teachers enacted stories to tell them the importance of their mother in their lives. The young kids presented them a beautiful card and flowers to show their respect and honour for their mother. The God cannot be everywhere so he sent mothers everywhere was remarked by Principal Dr Vandna Shahi.

Spring Dale School

The school celebrated Mother's Day with great Pomp and show. The School management accorded a warm welcome to the mothers. A grand entertainment and cultural programme was organised for the day. The programme started with auspicious lamp lighting ceremony followed by 'shabad gayan'. A dance performance by the students was one of the attractions. All mothers played 'tambola' and won attractive prizes. TNS

Radha Vatika Sr Sec School 

Khanna: The school celebrated Mothers' Day with enthusiasm. Students performed for their mothers on various songs and danced for them. Principal A Sakarsudha thanked and appreciated all the teachers, who played the role as mothers and help the students to gain all the knowledge through hardwork and determination.

Sacred Heart Convent 

The celebrations were held on school premises. Around 2,000 students from classes II to XII participated enthusiastically in a greeting-card making activity to greet mothers. They showcased their love for their mothers through their messages. oc
