New timings for Delhi-Ludh flight

Ludhiana, April 9

With the Air India giving effect to its summer schedule, the time of lone Delhi-Ludhiana-Delhi flight has changed. On four days of the week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), the Delhi-Ludhiana flight 9837 would take off from Delhi at 1.25 pm to arrive Ludhiana at 2.40 pm. In return journey, the Ludhiana-Delhi flight 9838 would depart from Ludhiana at 3.05 pm and reach Delhi at 4.30 pm.

The timings of the Sunday flight, however, would remain unchanged. On Sunday, Delhi-Ludhiana flight 09837 would depart from Delhi at 7.10 am to reach Ludhiana at 8.15 am while the Ludhiana-Delhi flight 9838 would take off from Ludhiana at 8.40 am and arrive Delhi at 9.55 am.

Two more special trains

Meanwhile, for the convenience of the rail passengers and to clear extra rush during the coming summer season, the Railways will run two more special trains, one between Bandra Terminus and Jammu Tawi, and the other between Gandhidham and Amritsar.

According to the Railways, the 09021/22 Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi-Bandra Terminus Weekly AC Superfast special train would make 22 trips while the 09453/54 Gandhidham-Amritsar-Gandhidham weekly special train would make 14 trips during April-June 2019.

The 09021Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi Weekly AC Superfast weekly special train will depart from Bandra Terminus on every Monday from April 15 to June 24, at 5.10 am to reach Jammu Tawi at 3.30 pm the next day. In the return journey, the 09022 Jammu Tawi-Bandra Terminus special train will depart from Jammu Tawi on every Wednesday from April 17 to June 26, at 2.30 am to reach Bandra Terminus at 10.20 am the next day.

Comprising of four AC 2-tier, eight AC 3-tier, four AC Chair Car and two brake-generator vans with AC disabled-friendly coaches, the train would stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodra, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Hindon City, Mathura, New Delhi, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt and Pathankot Cantt stations in both directions.

The other summer special train, the 09453 Gandhidham-Amritsar weekly special, will depart from Gandhidham at 6.30 pm on every Monday from April 15 to May 27 to reach Amritsar at 12.30 am on Wednesday. In the return journey, the 09454 Amritsar-Gandhidham weekly special train will depart from Amritsar at 3.00 am on every Wednesday from April 17 to May 29 to reach Gandhidham at 8.25 am the next day.

With one AC 2-tier, two AC 3-tier, eight sleeper class, six general class and two disabled-friendly second class-cum-luggage van coaches, the train will stop at Bhachau, Samakhiali, Santalpur, Radhanpur, Diyodar, Bhildi, Dhanera, Raniwara, Marwar Bhinmil, Modran, Jalor, Makansar, Samdari, Luni, Jodhpur, Gotan, Merta Road, Degana, Khatu, Chhoti Khatu, Didwane, Ladnun, Sujangarh, Ratangarh, Churu, Sadulpur, Hissar, Ludhiana and Jalandhar City stations in both directions.
