Ludhiana: A one-day outcome-based education workshop, sponsored by TEQIP-III, was held at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC). The resource person for the workshop was Mohan Kumar Nagerwara Guptha from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering College (SVCE), Hyderabad. The workshop was organised to aware the faculty of GNDEC about implementation of outcome-based teaching learning arrangement as per the guidelines of the National Board of Accreditation. The faculty was familiarised with the curriculum and syllabus design as per the needs of the industry.

Junior boxing championship begins

The 3rd Punjab State Junior Boxing Championship started at Shahi Sports College, Samrala, in which as many as 300 boxers from 27 teams of all districts of the state participated. In quarterfinal matches, students of the college in the 44 to 46-kg category, Varundeep, Harnoor, Honey and Inderjit entered the semis. In the 46 to 48-kg category, Robin, Aditiya, Manish and Anmol entered the semi finals, and in the 48 to 50-kg category, Navroop Singh, Taranjot Singh, Akash and Parshul entered the semis. TNS
