The Department of Fashion Design of the PCTE Group of Institutes organised a Fashion Paragon -Mega Model Hunt where around 80 students from various departments participated in the preliminary round of western wear and shocased the glamorous site of themselves.
In the prelims, the participants had an individual walk round and a couple walk round where they were judged on the basis of their outfit, walk confidence and elegance. Out of 80 students, 15 girls and 15 boys were shortlisted for the final round of ethnic wear in which five titles namely Mr / Miss Paragon, Mr/Miss Photogenic Face, Mr / Miss Bright Smile, Mr/ Miss Elegant, Mr/ Miss Best Outfit would be given to the winning participants.
Ruchi Chopra, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Fashion Design said the main motive behind organising the event was to give a chance to all the students to see the beauty in themselves and events like these help the students build confidence. She further said that the confidence comes as they walk across the stage.”
Dr KNS Kang, Director General, PCTE Group of Institutes congratulated the faculty of fashion design on successfully organising the event.
