Printers off to Beijing

Ludhiana, May 29

A batch of seven trainees left for training at Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication (BIGC) today. All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) has signed an agreement with the BIGC to provide print education in ‘3D printing’ and ‘print electronics’ to Indian print professionals, students and teachers. The first batch will get training from May 22 to August 18.

The AIFMP president, Prof Kamal Chopra, said it was an excellent opportunity. — TNS

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
