Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has decided to give yet another opportunity for submission of fresh test reports for tube well connections (agricultural power-AP) to consumers, whose test report failed due to some technical reasons or shortcomings.

In a circular issued by the PSPCL headquarters at Patiala, it was stated that applicants of AP connections, who had made compliance of demand notices by depositing service connection charges or security (works) along with the submission of required documents for release of connection up to January 11, 2017, but their test reports had failed, would be allowed to submit fresh reports in their respective DS sub-division.

The PSPCL chief engineer/commercial said the circular dated September 1, 2017, stated that tube well connections to such AP applicants shall be released as per seniority fixed on the basis of receipt of fresh test reports.

“The release of AP connections to these applicants shall be further subject to compliance of all other commercial instruction currently in force,” adds the circular.

The circular further states: “All chief engineers and engineers-in-chief of DS zones have been directed to strictly comply with these instructions.”
