Raman of Mundian Kalan wins 3 medals

Raman, a student of Class IX at Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Mundian Kalan, on the Ludhiana-Chandigarh Road, gave an excellent performance to bring fame to his school in the Sahnewal Zone Athletics Meet, organised by the District Education Department.

Raman gave an excellent performance in the boys U-14 section and bagged three medals in track and field events in this meet. He finished ahead of others in the 400-meter race to clinch the gold medal. Besides, he secured silver medals in the 600-meter race and long jump event.

Manpreet Singh, lecturer, physical education and Satinder Kaur informed that Raman was also good in academics and wished him more success.

Makhan Singh, zone convenor along with Dalwinder Singh and Kesar Singh, physical education teacher also appreciated Raman for his performance.
