Restaurant manager held

The owner and the manager of a restaurant have been arrested for ignoring the Police Commissioner’s orders by keeping the restaurant open even after 11:30 pm. They have been identified as Naveen Sharma and Mukesh Kumar of Gurdev Nagar.

Assistant Sub-Inspector Jasveer Singh said they had received information that workers of The Waffle King restaurant were serving eatables to their customers till late night in violation of the orders of the Commissioner of Police. The police raided the police and arrested both persons.

Earlier, the Commissioner of Police had ordered that all bars and restaurants be closed by 11:30 pm. A case under Section 188 of the IPC has been registered against both persons at the Division Number 5 police station.
