Road safety campaign

Road safety awareness seminar was organised at BCM School, Basant City.



Road safety awareness seminar was organised at BCM School, Basant City. Jasbir Singh, Head Constable (Education Cell) and Gurpreet Singh, Senior Constable, informed students about the Motor Vehicle Act.

Sensitising society 

Sacred Heart Convent School held a rally to sensitise masses towards women. Nearly 2,000 students, staff along with parents participated in peace march which finished at Sarabha Nagar market. Tributes were paid to victimis of sexual assault.

Poster-making event 

A poster-making competition was organised at SISJMPS, Karamsar (Rara Sahib), to observe Earth Day. Students expressed their ideas which represented deforestation, mining and eco-friendly land.

Workshop organised

Om Parkash Bansal Modern School, Mandi Gobindgarh, organised a handwriting workshop by calligraphy expert Anil Sharma for students of class III to VIII. Sharma emphasised on using multi-sensory techniques and research-based methods to make handwriting a natural and an automatic skill for the children. The training session involved direct work as well as fun-filled hands-on demonstrations to develop excellent skills.

Earth Day celebrated 

Police DAV Public School, Police Lines, celebrated “World Earth Day” with great zeal. Students and teachers came dressed in green attire with “Go Green” theme. A plethora of activities were organised to protect the environment.

Atam Devki Niketan

Atam Devki Niketan marked “Earth Day Every Day” event which included educative and fun-filled activities to make students aware of Earth Day. A bicycle rally was held for tiny tots who made posters to rid planet earth of pollution.

Graduation ceremony

DCM Presidency School held a graduation ceremony for primary classes. Students presented a show on the theme “Fairy tales with a twist”, where they gave a message that unlike fairy tales, villains don’t exist in real life. Principal Rajni Kalra gave graduation certificates to students and inspired them to keep scaling heights in future too.  TNS
