Ludhiana: The staff and students of Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Public School, Karamsar Rara Sahib, paid obeisance at the sanctum sanctorum to observe the 42nd death anniversary of Sant Ishar Singh Ji Maharaj of Rara Sahib on Friday. The gathering was led by a 'school band' and 'panj pyaras' to express gratitude for the benevolence of the Almighty at the shrine. Students of senior classes exhibited banners quoting 'Gurbani' to create piousness throughout the route. On being called on the stage, the students recited poems, speeches and shabads. Vimran and Roop Kaur recited the shabad  'Vadda Tera Darbar' on the occasion.

Pink Day celebrated

Pink Day was celebrated for the students of Nursery class at DCM Presidency School on Friday in order to acquaint them with the pink colour. They wore pink attires and brought various pink-coloured objects and spoke a few lines about them. The ambience also reflected pink colour. The students enjoyed the day and learnt colour discrimination with clarity through various colouring, cutting, pasting and clay activities.
