After appearing for July exams, government school students now get ready for half-yearly examinations from September 9.
The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) has released the datesheet for half yearly exams which will be held from September 9 to16.
The datesheet for Class III to X has been issued and soft copy of question papers for Class VI to X will be provided by the team of Padho Punjab, Padhao Punjab. The remaining question papers will be provided by the head office. The exam timings are from 8:30 am to 10 am. Classes will be held as usual regularly after the exam. Edusat programmes will remain off during exam days.
Answer sheets will be checked by subject teachers in schools itself and marks will be uploaded on the portal by the team of Padho Punjab, Padhao Punjab. For Class IV to VI, exams will be objective type, for which students will attempt their answers on the question paper itself. Class VII to X will be provided separate answer sheets.
Datesheet and question paper for Class XI and XII will be prepared at the school level. The SCERThas directed that exams for computer, physical education and drawing are to be taken by subject teachers on their own either before September 9 or after September 16.
