The complainant works as a computer operator at Tangri’s Ambey Trading company in Kesarganj Mandi. The police are conducting raids to nab the persons booked in the case.
The complainant, Sunny Mehta, a resident of Haibowal, yesterday lodged a complaint, following which a probe was launched by the police. At 5.30 pm, when my wife came to know about my location, she, along with my mother, arrived at Tangri’s house. But the leader told them that bring cash first, only then he would let them meet me. The next morning, when my wife came with a cheque for Rs 15,000, Tangri snatched the keys of my wife’s scooter. He also sent his gunman to my house who took away my motorcycle,” the victim added.
