Settle accident claims in Lok Adalat, ADJ to insurance officials

The State Legal Services Authority’s Additional Member Secretary RK Jain (ADJ) sensitised insurance company officials for settling the motor-accident claim cases in the National Lok Adalats here today.
He was interacting with the officials here today at the district court complex, along with CJM Dr Gurpreet Kaur. “Settling claims in Lok Adalats is always beneficial for the insurance companies. It also helps the aggrieved families who have lost their near and dear ones in road accidents,” said Jain.
He told them that National Lok Adalat would be held after every two months. The next Lok Adalat is scheduled for July 7. The New India Assurance company was represented by Officer Meenakshi Chouhan, National Insurance company by V K Puri, Rahul Kumar and United India Insurance company was represented by Ravinder Singh .
