Shooting of untitled film leaves city residents mesmerised

Ludhiana, May 19

Residents of the city were all excited on seeing the ongoing shooting for a film in the Field Ganj area today. As many as 15 crew members, many of them foreigners, were seen shooting for a film in the area today.

The people gathered around the spot to catch a glimpse of actors playing their part. “It is great to see a film shooting. I am seeing it for the first time in my life. ‘Goras’ are doing a fine acting,” said Harish, a youngster, who works at a shop in the area.

Some of the onlookers also got selfies clicked with member of the crew. “I got a selfie clicked with one of the goras (foreigners). He was very warm,” said another resident.

But, film crew members were tight-lipped about the project as they did not disclose the name of the flick. “I asked him what film he was here for, but he didn’t answer,” he said.

Although it was on the grapevine that Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar was in the film, he was nowhere to be seen during the film shooting.

Meanwhile, sources said Shabana Azmi was a part of the film. She would start shooting for the film soon, added the sources.
