The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) and Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) teachers who have not received salary from past three months will hold protest in Mohali on June 29 against the government.

The SSA and RMSA Teachers Union, president, Didar Singh Mudki said it has become difficult for teachers to work and manage their household tasks due to financial constraints. He said when it comes to rendering teaching service, they are considered equal to regular teachers and in fact, expected to do even more work, but their salaries are often delayed.
