Suhi Saver Media event addresses issues of women

Suhi Saver Media on Sunday celebrated its seventh anniversary at Punjabi Bhawan.
Arfa Khanum Sherwani and Neha Dixit, both journalists, were the guest speakers. They shared their views on religious fundamentalism, women and media. Arfa said equal rights, security and employment for women had taken a backseat for the past few years while political issues were taking over.
Neha Dixit said the problems of women at the ground level were overlooked due to corporate thinking. Till now, it is only men who have taken important decisions and this scenario needs to be changed, she added.
