The traditional festival of Teej was celebrated with fervor and gaiety at the pre-primary wing of Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Public School. Young students of classes I and II danced on the Punjabi music and the girls of XI &XII recited 'boliyan' and performed 'giddha'. Children were dressed in Punjabi cultural attires and performing on numbers.

Partap Public School

Gaiety and zest marked the Teej celebrations on the school premises. The traditional colourful costumes of the students and faculty added to enhance the charm and mood of the celebrations.

MGM Public School

The school celebrated the Teej festival with glee and euphoria. The school was decorate with the Punjabi culture. The swings in the school were decorated beautifully with flowers. The students were attired in Punjabi dresses. Cultural programme was prepared by the students under the guidance and supervision of their teachers. The girls enjoyed riding the swings. Students sang songs, gave speeches , performed Giddha on the occasion.

Atam Devki Niketan School

The school celebrated Teej festival on its campus. All kindergarten students were dressed in Punjabi attire and enjoyed a lot by singing various Punjabi Folk songs , dancing in beats of 'giddha' and bhangra. Students also enjoyed swings and applied various design of Mehndi on their hands.

Vacation fun display

Police DAV Public School, Police Lines, Civil Lines, hosted vacation fun and creativity display - an exhibition of summer holidays homework. Rupinder Kaur Bhatti, headquarter ACP, was the chief guest for the day. A creative display saw a conglomeration of various activities based on best out of waste. Besides this, school took an initiative to make handmade crafted 'rakhis' and envelopes for armed forces, as a token of gratitude and respect for them. A week-long event 'Rakhi Making Activity' was mobilised for this unique cause where all students of school underwent a delightful and learning experience by creating innovative and  handmade 'rakhis'. — TNS
