Trinamool Congress to support Bains

LUDHIANA: All India Trinamool Congress (Punjab) state president Manjit Singh Mohali announced to support the Lok Insaaf Party (LIP) candidate Simarjit Singh Bains here today.

All India Trinamool Congress (Punjab) state president Manjit Singh Mohali announced to support the Lok Insaaf Party (LIP) candidate Simarjit Singh Bains here today.

He said they were not contesting the elections in Punjab, but their party would support Bains. He appealed to the people to support Bains to make Punjab drug free.

Mohali said those who were behind sacrilege incidents should be brought to book. He alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party was trying to divide the country and it should be defeated.

He added that the candidates who actually work for the welfare and rights of the people should be supported. Lok Insaaf Party leader Randhir Singh Sivia was also present during the press conference.
