Virat Kohli-backed fitness centre starts

Ludhiana: Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli’s fitness brand Chisel was today inaugurated at the 7th floor of Pavilion Mall by RN Dhoke, Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana. This is Chisel’s first fitness centre in Punjab. The gym will provide its members with expert instructors and offers cardio zone, functional zone, spin studio, exer gaming, outdoor fitness, resistance zone and free weight training. According to Sanjay Jain and Rajeev Jain, partners of the Chisel Ludhiana franchise, “Chisel is a belief that a fit and a healthy body leads to a good quality life. We are on a mission to raise the level of fitness and wellness of people by uprooting their misconception regarding exercises and fitness through dissemination of scientific research done in this field.”

One year for ‘The Bruu Kiln’

City-based restaurant ‘The Bruu Kiln’ (TBK) has completed one year of serving global cuisine in Ludhiana. To mark its first opening anniversary, the restaurant is going to organise a cultural event on Saturday night. “TBK brings to the city a mesmerising jugalbandi by Studio Nirvana and Brown Gal and special anniversary dishes to mark the ocassion,” said Karan and Tipsy Bal, owners of the restaurant. —TNS
