Volleyball: Clean sweep by Sant Isher School students

Sant Ishar Singh Ji Memorial Public School (SISJMPS), Karamsar Rara Sahib, emerged overall champions in the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex Volleyball Championship for Boys and Girls (U-17 and 19) that concluded at Karamsar Rara Sahib near here today.
Students of the SISJMPS proved their mettle as they made a clean sweep wrapping up all the titles, which were at stake. In the girls’ U-17 category, the SISJMPS bagged first position while Radha Vatika School, Khanna, and Garden Valley School, Bassi Pathana, finished second and third, respectively.
In the girl’s U-19 section, SISJMPS, Karamsar Rara Sahib, annexed the title. They were followed by USPC Jain Public School, Jamalpur, at second place and Tagore International Public School, Sahnewal, at the third place.
Similarly, in the boys’ category, SISJMPS clinched titles in the U-17 as well as U-19 categories. Swami Shagun Lal Jain Public School, Khanna, secured second position in the U-17 section whereas Garden Valley International School finished at the third place.
In the boys’ U-19 section, USPC Jain Public School, Jamalpur, and Tagore International School, Sahnewal, secured second and third position, respectively. Dr Jaswant Singh, Principal, Government College, Karamsar Rara Sahib, was the chief guest on the final day of the event.
