Yarn exhibition sees 5,000 visitors on Day 2

The Yarn Fabric & Accessories Show (YFA) that marked its beginning on August 30 at Dana Mandi, Bahadur K Road, turned out to be beneficial for the industrialists and for city-based residents. The expo will be continued till Saturday.
Abhishek Sharma and Ankur Goel, the organisers said that the second day ended with 5,000 visitors. They further added that localities liked the show, as large variety of new fabrics and new yarns were introduced and displayed at the exhibition.
“Every company has showcased about 60 to70 varieties, thus giving a larger exposure to Ludhiana’s fabric industry. People are hoping that the exhibition will turn out to be useful for the development of fiber and yarn industry. With this show, the gap between SME sector and manufacturers will be minimized,” said Abhishek Sharma.
Organisers said their aim was to bring producers of world class and multiple varieties of value added fibers, yarns, fabrics and also garment accessories closer to the residents of Ludhiana and its surrounding areas, including Panipat, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Ambala and Jalandhar.
