Veteran actor Deven Verma, best known for his comic roles in "Khatta Meetha" and "Angoor", passed away this morning following a heart attack, family sources said.
Verma, 78, breathed his last at a city hospital early this morning. He is survived by his wife Rupa Ganguly.
In his career, he brought to Hindi cinema a touch of subtle humour that could be shared by family audience. He starred in over 100 films and won acclaim for many, including "Angoor", "Chori Mera Kaam", and"Golmaal". — PTI
