Ishwar Singh of Karora village, who was pursuing the Manoj-Babli honour killing case, disappeared on August 2 when he had gone to purchase fertilisers. His family members are apprehensive that the Manoj Babli case was behind his disappearance. The case was set for hearing in the Supreme Court on August 20 and Ishwar had been pursuing the case on behalf of Babli’s family. Sumer Partap Singh, SP, has handed over the case to the CIA.— OC
