The Mandi-Pathankot highway has been restored after being blocked for several hours on Wednesday.
The road was blocked near Maigal in Mandi district due to a massive landslide which had also led to a traffic jam in the region. A long queue of vehicles had lined up on the road since 6 am on Wednesday.
Even after the movement of light vehicles had been allowed on the road, it took till afternoon to restore it to full capacity.The district administration had pressed its workforce and machinery into force to clear the road.
