To commemorate the martyrdom day of Shaheed Udham Singh, the Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall Committee organised a play at Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall.

A play ‘Chiri Di Ambar Val Udan’ directed by a Mohali-based theatre actress Anita Shabdish was staged. The play was based on the poems of Dr Gurvinder Sandhu that depicted oppression of women by men since ages.

Speaking on the occasion, D Raghbir Kaur, General Secretary Desh Bhagat Yadgar Hall Committee said the people, who sacrificed their lives during the freedom struggle of India, have been still inspiring us.
