Mercury settled at normal levels in the national capital today giving a marginal respite from above-45 degree temperatures which scorched Delhiites a couple of days ago even as the MeT department predicted possibility of a squall hitting the city tomorrow.
 
The maximum temperature was recorded at 40.6 degree Celsius which was normal for this part of the season.
 
Earlier today, Delhiites woke up to a partly cloudy sky with the minimum temperature settling at 28.9 degree Celsius, a notch above normal for the on-going period.—PTI
