A perfect display of a toned physique made Mohali’s Kiratpal Singh bag a gold medal in the Mr North India Championship held in Jaipur on Sunday. 26-year-old bodybuilder bagged the honours in the below 90kg category and was also adjudged as the most improved bodybuilder of the North India by the organisers. “I am happy to secure a top position in the championship. It’s my hard work that paid me. I was expecting a tough competition in the championship and happy that I made the best display,” said Kirat.

The title will help him to claim stake in the Mr India competition. The competition will be a tough but I will try to bag place in top three ,” said Kirat. — TNS
