A Delhi-centric romcom much like the recent spate of comedies with a distinctive north Indian flavor, this film is about two naïve friends, Dhruv(Divyendu Sharma), an ambitious IAS aspirant and Happy(Pradhuman Singh) a comparatively less ambitious happy-go-lucky layabout of sorts.
The basic premise had some promise but Japinder Kaur’s direction is totally uninspired. It’s all so heavy-duty and labored that even the light hearted moments fell like dead-weights. Dibyendu(Pyar Ka Panchnama) Sharma and Ira(Aisha) Dubey lend solid craft to this woebegone enterprise with their respective performances. Prachi Mishra and Pradhyuman Singh are passable while Jackie Shroff makes the few funny moments stick. This is very much like the regular attitudinal rom-com set in Delhi, which makes heavy-weather of the few and far between fun moments. The script lacks humor and bite !
